About Blackline Marine Care

 We’re proud to kick off our ninth season serving Southern New England with Blackline Marine Care—a brand built on precision, craftsmanship, and an uncompromising standard of marine detailing.

Blackline Marine Care was founded by Zak Baxter, who began working hands-on in the Barnstable area, detailing boats one at a time. The photo shown captures those early days—Zak at just 12 years old, bottom painting a 13’ Boston Whaler. What started with small center consoles and long days on the dock quickly evolved into a focused pursuit of higher standards and better results.

Since those early days, the company has grown steadily into a dedicated, professional team providing mobile, high-end marine care services across Southern New England, including Cape Cod, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and the South Shore through the Plymouth and Boston area. Today, Blackline Marine Care specializes in premium detailing, surface correction, and protection services designed to preserve both the appearance and long-term value of each vessel.

Zak now attends Babson College, where he applies real-world business strategy and operational systems to continually refine and elevate the company. Each season, Blackline Marine Care raises the bar—investing in better processes, better equipment, and better outcomes for our clients.
